I asked Boyps to accompany me at SM San Lazaro to buy Christmas gifts for my pamangkins. It was another Saturdate and late lunch with him and he said that he wanted to try Inasal Chicken Bacolod. This is the green one.

I’m a bit confused with the Bacolod Chicken Inasal – the yellow one. Boyps said that our friend Je told him that the green one is much better than the yellow one. I actually wanted something deadly but he preferred a slightly healthier one. Since I haven’t tried this one, I gave in. Here’s what we had for lunch:
La Paz Batchoy (Php 103) – a noodle soup with beef strips, spring onions, egg and chicharon. It was good but nothing special. It’s not oily and flavorful.
Sizzling Boneless Bangus (Php 142) – I ordered this one. The saltiness is perfect. It’s crunchy and tasty. This is a rice-all-you can meal. I had requested for a half-cup rice refill but the serving looks like it is 1.
Boneless Thigh (Php 140) – a typical chicken inasal. But not like the Mang Inasal’s chicken. This one is better and I like this more. More flavor and much juicy. Just like the bangus, this is also a rice-all-you can meal. Boyps asked for a cup refill of rice but the serving is just big. I assume he had a total of 3 cups of rice. Bwaha.(healthy huh? :p)
I haven't tried the green one yet but I could say that I enjoyed my dining experience here at Inasal Chicken Bacolod.
