Army Navy – The Repeat
Our first experience was at Army Navy Taft. The 2nd was a delivery and our 3rd was at Dela Rosa Makati. So far, we’ve only enjoyed the 1st and 3rd because we both had burritos during these visits. We had burger on our 2nd  but we didn't enjoyed it as much as we did with their Burritos.
Army Navy’s Burrito is bigger as compared to Mexican Express’. Only 1 size is available but with more variations. Customers can select from Chicken, Vegetable, Pork and Steak. They serve their burrito with salsa and a slice of lemon.
One Friday night, here's what we had for dinner:

Chicken Burrito – (Php 145) – has Spanish rice, chicken strips, onions, lettuce and cilantro wrapped in a tortilla. You can squeeze some lemon and put in some sauce (a bit spicy) to add more flavor to your burrito.  I’m just not sure what their sauce is but it tastes like the one used for Shawarma. Their Salsa is the best. It’s sweet, sour and spicy. Since it’s very loaded, it’s quite messy to eat. I got so full without finishing my Burrito but Boyps still feels hungry. :p
Tortilla - (Php 35) + Cheese Dip (Php 20) – The tortilla is plain so cheese is a must to add flavor to it. But you can use salsa if you want to. Boyps didn’t like this as much as I did. But I saw him picking on it while I’m still enjoying my Burrito. :p
Ice Tea - (Php 55) - my favorite Iced Tea. Haha. According to their poster, it's made up of freshly brewed tea. But I think the one we had has really strong flavor of tea - not exactly the same as what we had in Army Navy Taft. This sometimes makes me think that different branches have different taste of food and drink.

I would always want to go back to Army Navy if I'm craving for a Burrito. But I'm still hoping that we would be able to find a branch where we can eat a delicious burger. I've been reading and hearing good reviews about Army Navy's burger so I'm still not giving up. :p

Nemoto Restaurant
We've been here twice. Quite funny though because Boyps was sick on our 1st visit, and it was me on the 2nd. All we wanted was to eat soup and the only restaurant that we can think of that is located in Buendia is Nemoto - a Japanese restaurant.
FTFBadge
Every time we pass through this restaurant, we both sneak to look what’s inside. Boyps find it like a mafia place. He said “the one you would see in Chinese movies wherein the fight scenes are done in a wooden restaurant”. Most of their customers are foreigners. I just find everything so old but cute. They have lanterns inside, wooden chairs and tables and comic books that are for sale / rent (assuming :p).
Here’s what we got on our 1st visit:
California Maki - Php 184.80 - It's typical. Nothing so special but I still liked it. Hehe
Miso Ramen – Php 212.80 – This is flavorful. “Lasang – lasang Miso” :p It has egg, bean sprouts, vegetables and ground meat. Good for Boyps as he really needs soup that day.
Gyoza – Php 114.24 – Just like Maki, nothing special but still delicious.

2nd visit:
Tempura Udon – Php 218.40 – Another must try soup. Boyps said “this tastes like tempura sauce”. It has shrimps, mushrooms and vegetables. Serving is smaller as compared to Ramen.
Gyudon (Beef toppings) – Php 192.64. Their version is quite sweet. Boyps said “hirap i-cut nung beef pero di naman sumasabit sa teeth :p
We also got free pineapple for dessert on our 1st visit. Nice! J Overall, we like our experience at Nemoto. Service is good, waitresses are attentive; pricing is quite unusual because of the cents. I’m glad that we finally risked and tried it. We'll surely be back J

Boyps and I are always (or most of the time) having a hard time waiting for a bus ride going to Buendia. FTFBadgeWe usually leave the office around 6-630 in the evening just in time for a late merienda or early
dinner. One time, there are lots of commuters waiting for a bus but few buses came. So instead of waiting for minutes, we have just decided to try another restaurant in the Ayala Triangle. My friend said that we should try CBD because they really serve delicious burgers. Here’s what we ordered.

Onion Rings Php 80 – the onion is sweet; the breading is crispy and not oily. It’s best eaten with ketchup and mayo.
CBD Cheeseburger (mine) Php 155 –. It’s tasty! It has cheese, tomatoes, and green veggie. It is also served with chips (can't remember if it's a potato, wanton wrapper or something else :|) With its taste and smell, I can really say that it was grilled (lasang inihaw talaga).
CBD Jalapeño Burger (Boyps) Php 170 – It’s yummy as well. Just like in Malcolm’s, we didn’t recognize the difference between the 2 burgers except that this has slices of jalapeño. It wasn't spicy though.
We didn’t find anything special with the burgers but we still liked it. J Both are oily and that’s totally the reason why it’s delicious. J After this, we went back to the loading station and thank goodness, we are able to ride without even running towards the bus :p

Krazy Garlik
I've been reading good reviews about this restaurant that’s why I told Boyps that we should try this out. With nothing much to say, here’s what we got:

Krazy Garlik Salad – Php245+ - This is so unique (for me)! It’s not a typical lettuce – egg – dressing – croutons salad. It has fried wanton, peanuts, green vegies, bell peppers and onions. The best J
Baba Ghanoush – Php227+ - flavored eggplant served with bread. I like the bread but not the eggplant K. It really has a strong taste that I don’t know how to describe it. To lessen its powerful flavor, I just used it as spread to my bread. It was indeed a very expensive eggplant dish! :p
Hara Kiri Rice – Php200+ - It’s a fried rice with shrimp, squid, bacon bits and chili. It’s moderately spicy! Yummy!

Rouge Seafood Coconut Curry – Php370+ - Mushroom, squid, shrimp and slices of eggplant and banana in curry sauce. The curry is just right – not too strong but still flavorful.
The food is pricey, the servings are few (and of course garlic overloaded :p), the taste was just okay. But I can say that we still enjoyed our dining experience here at Krazy garlik. Thanks to the lady who assisted us all throughout. She is very accommodating and fast in responding to our requests.
This is us. We’re addicted on trying food from different restaurants. J It may be expensive sometimes, but this is just a reward after a long stressful work week.

Burrito at Mexican Express
Mexican Express is one of my favorite stalls in University Mall. I had my first burrito experience here and it satisfied me so well. It’s made up of Mexican rice, chicken or beef strips, onions, tomatoes, jalapeno and cheese wrapped in a tortilla. Unlike other burritos, theirs is not messy to eat. It was wrapped in such a way that nothing will fall each time you bite. The 1st time I tried this, I ordered their Super Chicken Burrito and I got so full that I gave Boyps some of it. On my 2nd try, I decided to have regular Beef Burrito and I ended up asking for more. Hehe. J

Cerealicious

I used to accompany Boyps when he's having dinner on a weekday. Most of the time, we just stroll along Taft to find a place where to dine in. University Mall is the best for me. It has just gone through renovation so most of the stalls are new.
Cerealicious has opened and we got surprised when we saw their menu board. Aside from cereals, I just knew that they are also offering pasta and rice meals. Here's what we got:
Chicken Pesto Pasta (Php 75) - Yummy! The chicken is crunchy and tasty. It's the chicken that gave a better taste to the   pasta.
Creamy Chicken Casserole (Php 135) -It's creamy! Haha. It has carrots, peas, chunks of chicken and rice crispies. It tastes like "ala king baked rice" of Greenwich but this one is not baked.
The Hurt Loacker (Php50) - Snow milk mixed with Milo cereal then topped with M&Ms and Loacker Chocolate wafer. Who says that cereals are just for breakfast? :p

If you're looking for a place that serves good food for a cheap price, Go try Cerealicious pasta and rice meals. And oh, don't forget to grab a cup of cereals.  J

Malcolm's Burger
I had another food trip with Boyps but this time, it’s on a weekday. He was hungry, I was full. But we still decided to try Malcolm’s Burger for dinner. We always pass through this store and really wanted to try it but Boyps had doubts because he didn't see much people eating inside. Not until the day we finally did! We saw 7 customers inside the store. Haha! Btw, the place is small that it can only accommodate 12-16 persons (I think). Here's what we had:

Potato Chips (Php35). It's thin and crispy but we didn't like the taste. Boyps said “lasang mantika”   or “maanta” (not sure if that's the correct word to describe it).
Cowhand’s Burger for me (Php95). At first bite, it tasted like Jollibee’s patty. Boyps said that it’s just normal. But after my 2nd or 3rd bite, I started to like it.
Malcolm’s Classic for Boyps (Php120). This one is better. I like this more. Hehe.
I don't know what's the difference between the two but the waitress said that Cowhand's Burger uses "seasoned patties" while the Malcolm's Classic is just made up of pure wagyu beef. But it's just weird because they expected Cowhand's to be more flavorful than Malcolm's Classic. But for me, it's the other way around.
